Roles And Responsibility :
To supervise and monitor project activities at the site on daily basis to ensure that work is completed as per the daily schedule in the most efficient manner while meeting specification and quality standards.
Understand the project requirement and create a bill of material for the project and submit it to the project lead for review.
Ensure all pre-work like temporary lighting and store arrangements are done at the site.
Ensure material availability at the project site with periodic follow up with the logistics team so the project schedule is not impacted. If required, purchase material directly with a sign-off from the Project lead.
Create daily work plans and mobilize contractors for the completion of project activities.
Monitor the work done by contractors and ensure to see that the same is as per quality parameters. Provide feedback to Project Lead on the performance of the contractors.
Connect with draughtsman for queries arising during project execution and ensure all are resolved for smooth execution of the project.
Coordinate with other vendors at the site for smooth execution of project work.
Attend client meetings along with the Project Lead and work on action points discussed.
Undertake site measurements in presence of the client and prepare a snag list. Ensure all items in the snag list are completed.
Understand the safety regulations to be followed at the project site and ensure contractors are adhering to the same.
Inspect all incoming materials at the site and submit the signed challan to the Logistics team for records.
Ensure all materials are stored appropriately with proper locking arrangements at the project site and issued to contractors on time and appropriate documentation is maintained for all incoming materials and materials issued to contractors.
Ensure stock check is done for all inventory at the site and a monthly report is submitted to Project Lead / Logistics team on the same. Excess inventory at the end of the project is moved back to godown or another project site basis consultation from Project Lead and Logistics team.
Ensure all appropriate gate passes are created for relevant materials/equipment from time to time.
Prepare daily progress reports and manpower reports and submit them to Project Lead.
Seek client sign-off on-site handover report and submit to Project Lead.
Assist, guide, and monitor workers in their day-to-day affairs.
Handle disciplinary/ performance issues in consultation with Project Lead.
