Key Responsibilities:

• Candidate Has work experience programming, testing, and commissioning advanced control systems in a variety of industries (i.e. Pharma & Food Processing.)

• Should be sound enough to decide on the PLC/HMI/SCADA models as per the Customers URS.

• Should be able to make an I/O List as per the URS and P&ID.

• Should be able to write programming logic as per the Project.

• Ability to complete assigned tasks and maintain a schedule for multiple projects as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

• Ability to evaluate and convey the contractual scope of work and the impact of client-issued bulletins and/or scheduling changes to the assigned project manager.

• Background in electrical and instrumentation wiring and troubleshooting an asset.

• Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience reading electrical schematics/wiring diagrams and PI&D drawings.

• Must have an appropriate college or graduate degree in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering/ Instrumentation.

• Programming experience with .Net, C/C++, C#, VB/VB.Net, SQL/TSQL/SQL+, or other high-level languages is a strong asset.

• Electrical design/drafting experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, promise, etc. is a definite asset.

• Flexible working hours with the ability to travel on occasion.

• Strong written and oral English communication skills. Any other spoken or written language would be considered an asset.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Must have experience in pharma equipment & process

• Preparation of functional specification and validation Documents consider assets.
