Get the sale using various customer sales methods (cold calling, presentations, etc).
Forecast sales, develop out-of-the-box sales strategies/models, and evaluate their effectiveness.
Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business and equipment needs.
Evaluate customers' skills, and needs, and build long-lasting productive relationships.
Meet personal and team sales targets - Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
Attend meetings, sales events, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments.
Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data.
Maintain and expand the client database within your assigned territory.
Required Skills -
A minimum of 3+ years of experience is required.
Candidates from the Marine industry will be preferred.
Need to Have ERP/SAP Experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations -
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access and industry-specific analysis software.
Demonstrated ability to assist senior management and sales representatives with additional work if needed.
Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new sales with customers, including add-on services.
Be strongly skilled in organization, problem-solving, customer service, and multitasking while being committed to excellence.
Must have strong communication skills.
Must be able to assist in all sales and marketing campaigns as needed, particularly through presentations and site inspections.
